Steelwork Connections

Our Building Design has worked with a number of contractors that require structural steelwork connection designs, using forces provided by the project structural engineer. Using these forces, Our Building Design is able to undertake full steelwork connection design in accordance with BS EN 1993-1-8. Connections types undertaken are as follows:

• Load bearing /lateral stability stiffeners

• Beam-to-beam connections

• Beam-to-column connections

• Bolted or welded connections

• Nominally pinnned, rigid and semi-rigid connections

• Spliced beam/column connections

• Column bases
